A response to some questions regarding 9" rear end measurements. Ran across this table several years ago in Super Ford. Don't know the name of the guy that submitted it so I can't give him credit...rumble seat

Measurements are from the mounting face of backing plate to mounting face of backing plate. Please note that many of these are performance cars such as HiPo's, big blocks, etc. and are not in your typical grocery getter. You'll just have to look to verify they are a 9". They came with both leaf springs and coils, so they'd have to be checked for those too.

'64-'77 Bronco = 46"
'58-'60 T'Bird = 50"
'57-'59 Ford & Edsel, '63-'69 Falcon, '63-'65 Comet, '67-'70 Mustang & Cougar, '66-'69 Fairlane & Cyclone...... all are 52"
'63-'65 Fairlane and '65-'66 Mustang......came with both 52" and 54".
'71-'73 Mustang & Cougar =54"
'70-'71 Torino & Cyclone, '60-'64 Ford and Mercury (full size), '61-'67 T-Bird....... all are 56"
'58-'72 F-100 pickup = 57"
'73-'90 F-100 pickup = 58-3/4"

NOTE: F-100 pickups came with gear ratios of 3.25:1, 3.40:1, 3.70:1, 3.90:1, 4.10:1, 4.30:1, 4.56:1, and 4.67:1
